On Saturday July 2, 2011 we headed across Lake Oneida to Brewerton. The water was calm and a very large crowd of fisherman dotted the lake since it was a free fishing weekend in the state of New York. Andrew launched The Revenge and tried to do a little fishing along the way. I was left in charge of the bridge while the kids were still sleeping. It was a beautiful morning to be on the water.
Below are some photos taken from the dock and in the water at Brewerton Boatyard.
After some fun in the water we walked a few blocks and over a bridge to enter the crowd to watch some fireworks. We could see the barge from the bridge. Everyone was friendly and we really enjoyed the fireworks on display. Brewerton was a wonderful place to celebrate our Independent Day.
