Sabastian's entry on Tarzan of The Apes

This book is a action adventure. The book is about a boy raised by apes because his parents Mrs. And Mr. Greystoke were abandoned on a island and were killed by apes. When Tarzan was 10 he taught himself how to read and write.  When he was eighteen his ape mother died because a mysterious black person. Tarzan follows this man and finds a village full of these blacks and throws  a noose around the black man that killed his mother. He strips him and throws him into the village. The next thing that happens is a ship full of English men and women come to the island. Tarzan and the Englishmen and women  had many adventures together. Some of the characters that come from the ship are Jane, Mr Potts and D'Arnot.   At the last part of the book Jane agrees to marry Tarzan.  I really liked Tarzan and the Apes because  action adventure is fun to read. I would highly recommend Tarzan and the Apes for girls and boys. I thought that the best part of the book was when Jane agrees to marry Tarzan. 

My favorite characters are Jane,Tarzan,and  D'Arnot. 

I liked Jane because she is beautiful. I liked Tarzan because he is fast very strong and adapts to the jungle by killing and eating animals. I liked D'Arnot because he is a leader in an army and helps take a bullet out of Tarzans body, D'Arnot  also lived in the jungle with Tarzan for a while.

The three things that most changed Tarzan were. When D'Arnot tought Tarzan how to speak French  and how to use silverware. Tarzan also taught him self how to read and write. The last thing that changed him was falling in love with Jane.
