Lock 2 at Waterford

After getting settled in a bit at Waterford we headed up to Lock 2 so that we could see what was in store for us. We watched the two boats that were in the lock and what they did so we could gain tips and tricks or what not to do.

This boat is to close for my comfort as well as the dockmasters.

I don't know if you can see the height difference in the water. The left side is inside the lock and the water is lower than the right side which is upriver.

Now the boats are up at the top of the lock and ready to continue their journey west.
