Oswego,NY

We took advantage of The Revenge and took a sunset cruise out to the lighthouse on Friday night. Many people told us not to miss out on the sun setting over Lake Ontario. It was a little cloudy out and soon after I took the picture above the sun went out of view until it was right on the horizon.

There was a huge Pro-Am Salmon and Trout fishing tournament in Oswego over the weekend.   The local fishermen at the marina told us to head over to the fish cleaning station after the weigh in and we could pick up some fresh fish for the cost of cleaning it, $3.00 a fish! Not being one to pass up a great deal on fresh food we kept our eye on the clock so we wouldn't miss out.We picked up several Salmon and Steel Head Trout/Rainbow Trout.  Andrew grilled some Salmon for dinner, it was yummy. The rest are in the freezer ready to be eaten soon. Pictured  below are the fishermen we saw fishing on Sunday. They have some serious gear to catch Salmon! It was quite impressive.
