Catch-up

I have been in the middle of moving all of our family photos and music over to what is now the shared laptop( ie kids and mom). Now that this is completed I hope to be able to keep everyone up to date more often. The kids 2010-2011 school year is coming to a close. We are preparing for Stanford testing at the end of the month! After talking with other homeschooling moms and months of sorting through all of the methodologies I am moving more towards "The Well Trained Mind Method" as for our math for the next year that is still undecided. Our school year will begin again sometime in April.
We have several boat project on the books to complete before we leave Charleston on April 2,2011. We ordered some Marquipt stairs. However, we needed to order a landing to attach to the boat so the stairs will angle back to the aft of the boat. Hopefully, the landing will arrive and we can have working stairs! We are all excited at being able to walk on to the boat with bags in our hands instead of lifting everything over the side of the boat or setting it on the bow while boarding the boat. We are also waiting for our 300 feet of line to show up so that we can make some new lines for Inconceivable. The kids are most excited for their project, a new hatch. The hatch in the kids stateroom has been leaking like crazy. The kids are tired of waking up when they get wet and I am tired of washing and drying out their bedsheets. So it is a win win for everyone involved.
