This was our first test on moving the boat as well as moving our van north to Richmond. On Wednesday we rented a car a drove 2 hours south to Charleston to pick up our van and say hello to our friends at The Maritime Center. On Thursday the kids and I visited the Children's Museum of Myrtle Beach and also ran errands.
I could not resist a picture with Clifford the Big Red Dog and Emily Elizabeth. The whole museum was a mini Birdwell Island as well as some exhibits about South Carolina.
After Andrew finished work we headed up to Barefoot Landing to visit T.I.G.E.R., We had our picture taken with a Liger and a Gibbon. As soon as I scan in the family picture I will post it here. All of the animals live on a nature preserve and a few of them come to Barefoot Landing each day to help raise money to take care of them. http://www.tigerfriends.com/RSF.html. We also picked up some freshly made Salt Water Taffy and fudge from Wee-R-Sweetz.
