The Hunley was built in Mobile, Alabama. We can visit the H. L. Hunley in North Charleston on the Cooper River inside a research building. We went on a tour. The H. L. Hunley is in a 55,00 fresh water gallon tank. The H. L. Hunley is a little destroyed. The H. L. Hunley is one of the first submarines built in America.
